Having lived in NYC for several years, I could tell you many great places to brunch in New York. I cannot, however, say the same about Chicago, a city just bursting with extraordinary flavors.
Luckily, a fellow blogging bruncher in the Windy City has made a list of her top brunch spots in Chicago on her blog, Juicy Olive. She’s even broken them down into the types of brunch experience you’re looking for such as the Sports Watching brunch, the Healthy Habits brunch, the Hangover brunch and the always popular Big Spenders brunch (aka Mom and Dad are picking up the tab).
A few of the highlights include:
- Wilde’s Fried Egg Sandwich with grilled tomatoes, caramelized onions, thick-cut bacon and sharp white cheddar
- Eating like royalty with some Steak Tartare and Crab Cake Benedict at Ralph Lauren Restaurant
- Duffy’s Tavern for its buffet and seasonal Mimosa bar (Awesome!)
- Nursing your hangover with the brunch buffet and Bloody Mary bar (Double Awesome!) at Stanley’s
